Welcome To Mrs Dougherty's Classroom at Carbon Career and Technical Institute.

BIOLOGY Students: Since most of you are new to CCTI, feel free to contact me with questions or help any time. Watch for this page to change frequently. If you click on the links to the right, you will see how FAST we cover material in our class. Because of the rigorous requirements for the Keystone Biology Exam, we will be moving quickly through the main points so that we may spend time reviewing before the exam at the end of May 2014. The goal of this wiki is to keep students and parents informed of what is current in our Biology classes and so that students may work at home or in school to learn the state mandated standards for Biology.

You need to sign up for Remind via email or text message. This anonymous, free service allows me to send you reminders via text or email. I cannot sign you up, you must do it yourself. There is no limit to the number of emails or phone numbers you sign up. Expect about three to four texts a week.Syllabus for Biology

If you are a Physics student, do not despair, a brand-new, completely hands-on curriculum is on it's way to you, beginning on August 26. You can take a sneak peak at the first week, however since it is new, I will build your pages as we go. I am very excited to begin our new year and new curriculum, and can't wait to see you!
You may already be familiar with Remind101 from your other classes, here is how to sign up for my Physics reminders.

Students, the best way to contact me off-hours is through the discussion icon near the top of this page. Your message is public, and goes straight to my mobile phone. Thanks! Mrs. Dougherty
